As a CSA member, you are an integral part of our farm, and we aim to reward your investment by sharing the successes of the season with you.

The winter and spring are the time when farms do much of their planning and purchasing of seeds, compost, animal feed, infrastructure improvements etc. By paying in advance, you provide much-needed capital to the farmer at a time when income is low, but expenses for the coming season are high. In return, we, your farmers, prioritize you as our customer by delivering you the best of what we are producing at Sweet Acre, and generally supplying you with more value in food than you paid for.

As always, there is risk inherent in farming due to weather, pests, and disease. You also share in this risk with us when you join our CSA. This is the nature of the partnership between farmer and customer that is created by the CSA.
